NAEMT’s Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) course provides evidence-based trauma education for EMS and other prehospital healthcare professionals. The course focuses on rapid assessment, critical thinking, hemorrhage control, airway and breathing management, shock, and care of special populations through case studies, hands-on skills, and patient simulations.
